Hey there! My name is Amanda and I am gearing up to join the World Race in their January 2022 launch where I will be serving alongside a team of 20-30 young adults in hopes to share and witness the love of Christ in East Asia and South America.
For a bit about me…
I am born and raised in Texas and recently moved to the Austin area after graduating from Texas A&M in 2019 (whoop!) where I was on the women’s Volleyball team and got the opportunity to study abroad in Italy. Throughout my years in college, the Lord has given me a love for global mission and being able to grow in Christ through the witness of his goodness and faithfulness in different areas of the world.
Thankful is an understatement when I look back on how the Lord has so beautifully lead me to this exact moment in my life where I can sweetly abandon securities around me to be able to serve others in his name. He has placed a great love to see incredible change in the hearts of individuals, that cause a ripple effect into communities and countries for his good. What an opportunity he has called me to!
I would love for you to partner with me in order to bring the name of Jesus across the world to see life transformation in the hearts of God’s people! There are a handful of ways in which you are able to support me on this mission:
1. PRAY! The most important and crucial role of support is to lift me up in prayer as I embark on this trip. Pray that the Lord will use me as he sees fit to forward the gospel in the areas I set foot in. Pray for the individuals I will encounter that they will see and come to know Christ and live a life of glory and honor to him. Pray that my eyes will be open and I learn how I can better serve those around me on the other side of this trip- people in my own backyard and that I would never take for granted the goodness I will lay witness to!
2. FINANCIALLY! This is another crucial component of this trip. Raising funds in order to embark on this trip will allow myself and my squad to be hands on with individuals in other areas of the world. We have an unbelievable ability to hear, read, and grow in Christ that marks us with the responsibility to share that love with others who may not have the same ability. This money will go towards travel, food, lodging, resources, and ministry service throughout this 11-month trip.
